Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival

On arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and collected by our guide and driver. They will accompany you to your hotel for check-in. Afterward, the rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 2: Luang Prabang City tour by bicycle (B)

After a fulfilling breakfast at your hotel, you will have a chance to discover the ancient city of Luang Prabang by bike. The first place to see in the tour is the morning market, where you can easily witness the activities of selling, trading, meet the locals and try some mouth-watering Lao food.

The cycling tour ensues towards Wat Xieng Thong – the most beautiful and famous temple in Laos. This is a good opportunity for you to learn a bit more about Buddhist architecture and religion in Laos.

Once done at the Wat Xieng Thong, we take a stroll down the street to visit some beautiful temples including Wat Sibounheuang, Wat Si Moungkhoun, Wat Sop and Wat Sene before heading to the National Museum.

When it comes to sunset time, our guide will assist you with a visit to Mount Phousi, where you can feel free to sightsee, take photograph and enjoy fresh air.

Afterward, we will go shopping for a while at H’mong Night Market before returning to your hotel.

The balance of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Kuang Si Falls and Pak Ou caves (B)

Breakfast will be served at your hotel. The day starts by transferring you to the pier for a scenic upstream cruise on the Mekong River. Today we will discover Pak Ou Caves, a mysterious Buddhist temple sitting on the bank of the river – home to thousands of statues and hidden images.

Once done at Pak Ou, we cruise back to the city and make a stopover at 2 local villages of Ban Xang Hai (the traditional village of making rice wine) and Ban Xang Khong (village of Wood Paper and silk weaving)

In the afternoon, we ride 30km towards Kuang Si, a stunning complex of waterfalls sitting inside the jungle. It’s time for you to cool off, swim, and enjoy cool turquoise natural pools in Kuang Si.

You will easily encounter the Bear Rescue Center nearby – home to some luckiest bears in Laos which were rescued from hunter’s traps and illegal trading.

We drive back to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon. Meals on your own; Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Fly to Vientiane (B)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Vientiane – the charming capital city of Laos.

On arrival in Vientiane, our guide will pick you up and accompany you to your hotel in central town for check-in. The balance of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Buddha Park - Vientiane City Tour (B)

Today’s itinerary is all about exploring Vientiane – the charming capital city of Laos.

The first site to see is Talat Sao or Morning Market – a worth-visiting attraction for shopping enthusiasts. Apart from local foods, you can find a lot of interesting things to buy back such as silk, wooden sculpture, traditional clothes, rice wine and various kinds of souvenirs.

Wat Sisaket is an outstanding Khmer-styled architecture that you should not miss when setting food in Vientiane. The temple is home to nearly 7,000 Buddha statues and hidden images.

Nearby, Wat Phra Kaew, the oldest temple in Vientiane, is considered as a museum of Buddhism with a huge collection of ancient books and statues of all sizes and materials. The temple is used to be famous for the Emerald Buddha, which is now moved to Thailand.

Afterward, our guide will assist you with a transfer to Pha That Luang – the most famous and recognizable symbol of the country.

It is time to get to the Patuxai Monument, which is located at the heart of the city, and climb to its top to have a stunning panorama over Vientiane and the city’s peaceful outskirt.

In the afternoon, the tour ensues towards the Buddha Park, a famous archeological site in Laos, where you can admire a large number of Buddha statues, mysterious human and animal-shaped stone of all sizes.

Day 6: Vientiane – Fly to Pakse – Half day city tour (B)

The day starts with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Pakse.

On arrival in Pakse, you will be greeted and collected by our local guide at the airport. He will assist you with a transfer to your hotel for check-in.

After having some rest, our tour ensues to the morning market of Deo Heaung. This is a perfect spot to see the daily life of local people in Pakse and see many idyllic spectacles you’ve never seen before.

Once done at the market, the tour continues towards Wat Luang and Wat Phabad – 2 beautiful temples on the bank of Mekong River with impressive architectural styles and unique drawings on the wall.

After that, you will have a chance to pay a visit to the Golden Buddha Temple, of which location offers you a breath-taking view of Pakse and tranquil surrounding outskirts.

Head back to your hotel and relax at your own leisure. Meals on your own. Overnight at your hotel in Pakse.

Day 7: Day trip to Bolaven (B)

Once you filled yourself up with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, the tour starts with a drive towards one of the most splendid lands in Laos – the Bolaven Plateau. Apart from some broad national parks and majestic jungles, Bolaven Plateau is also home to some greatest waterfalls in Asia including Tad Fane, Tad Yuang, Tad Phasoum, etc. On this day trip, you will have a chance to explore these falls as well as the stunning nature of Bolaven Plateau.

Once done at some mind-blowing waterfalls, we drive back to Pakse on the beautiful forest roads. On the way back, we’ll make a stopover at some local plantations and villages for a tea/coffee break. This is a good chance to attend local workshops to see how exactly Lao tea/coffee is made.

Back to your hotel and relax after a long day.

Day 8: Pakse – 4000 Islands (B)

The day starts with a fulfilling breakfast at your hotel. The tour then ensues to the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Wat Phou Temple, which will surprise you with its unique ancient architecture dating back to 11th Century.

The tour continues by transferring you to the pier for a boat trip to Don Det – a peaceful island in the region. Don’t forget your camera as we will pass by some local fishing villages and tranquil scenery along the Mekong River.

Once embarked Don Det, we will go sightseeing by tuk-tuk to another island to witness the ancient French railway tracks and the stunning Liphi Waterfall.

Transfer to your arranged hotel in 4000 Islands for check in and free at your leisure. Meals on your own; Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: 4000 Islands – Pakse (B)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and say goodbye to 4000 Islands. Today we will drive back to Pakse and make a stopover at the spectacular Khone Phapheng Waterfalls, which is called by local people “the jewel of the Mekong” for its incredible majesty and beauty.

On arrival in Pakse, our guide will accompany you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 10: Pakse – Departure (B)

Enjoy breakfast and relax on the last day of the tour. We will soon transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
